Bio

CTC_Website_icon_v copy.png

I am drawn to working with children because at a young age, I experienced a traumatic event that taught me how critical and formative the early years are in shaping health, wellness, and relationships we each experience throughout life.

Through my background in working with children and teens struggling with stress and anxiety, refugee children in foster care, neurodivergent populations, and severely disabled and chronically and terminally ill children and adults, I have experienced the positive, transformative effect that creative therapeutic interventions including art therapy can have on a child’s sense of wellbeing and joy, their behavior, self-confidence and self-control, and how it can lead to mastery over difficult emotions and experiences.

I am passionate about helping families and empowering parents to witness the profound transformation in their child’s energy, mood, and behavior—changes that can often begin in just one session and grow substantially over time. I strive to show families that positive, joyful growth is not only possible but achievable through consistent, caring, and playful support. My personal wellness practices include cooking, hiking, and making art with my own kids, and spending as much time in nature as possible.
