Bio

CTC_Website_icon_v copy.png

I was drawn to working with children and families because of my experience as a parent, especially navigating the many transitions and challenges that can come with raising children. I’ve seen how moments of change—like shifts in family dynamics or separation—can deeply impact both children and parents, and how meaningful it is to have support during those times. This work feels personal to me because I understand how important it is for kids to feel truly seen, heard, and understood, no matter what their family is going through.

Through my background in school-based counseling, parenting education, and trauma-informed care, I have grown to believe that kids are incredibly resilient when they have the right support. Even when big emotions show up as anxiety, withdrawal, or behavior changes, those are often just signals that a child needs connection, safety, and understanding. I’ve seen how, with the right guidance, children can build confidence, express themselves more openly, and reconnect with their families in meaningful ways.

I love helping parents experience those “aha” moments—when they begin to understand what their child is really feeling beneath the surface, and everything starts to shift. Watching parents move from frustration or worry into deeper connection and confidence in their relationship with their child is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My personal wellness practices include spending time in nature (especially hiking), staying active through tennis, and traveling with friends to recharge and stay connected to joy outside of my work.
