Bio

CTC_Website_icon_v copy.png

I was drawn to working with children and teens because I have always been interested in the emotional world kids carry beneath their behavior. When a child is anxious, shutting down or acting out, there is often a deeper story underneath. I help families understand that behavior is communication and can be approached with curiosity and support rather than fear and punishment.

Through my experience as a mother of 3 young adults, a behavior analyst, a school based therapist and an art educator, I have come to believe that children grow when they feel safe and supported. Therapy becomes a space where kids can make sense of big feelings and develop confidence in themselves.

I also enjoy helping parents experience the relief that comes when their child's reactions begin to make more sense and home life feels calmer and more connected. My work integrates CBT, trauma informed care, emotional regulation skills and creative art based interventions, while also collaborating closely with parents so progress carries into everyday life.

Outside of my work I enjoy making pottery, hiking with my family and 2 dogs, and quiet creative practices that help me stay grounded.
